Food Pyramid vs Low Carb Diet
Could the founding fathers of the Food Pyramid have gotten nutrition all wrong? Is a piece of white bread more deadly than a side of beef? Some other ponderous thoughts:
Is it harder to lose weight, as well as maintain weight, while on a low fat, high carbohydrate daily diet?
Is butter a Diet Friend rather than a Diet Foe?
Does eating simple carbs get the body craving additional simple carbs?
Most 'Low Carb Diet Gurus' are steadfast in the theory that it is more difficult to control weight on
a low fat, high carb diet. Most also agree that
butter is one of man's best friends in limitation,
and that simple carbs begat more simple carbs.
