The Atkins Diet Plan

This content is for informational & reading purposes only.

The Basic Plan: The Atkins Diet Plan has a huge following and is based on no more than 20 grams of carbohydrates per day.  The Atkins Diet Plan is indeed a fad diet because it drifts away from the food pyramid guidelines as to the food combination that constitutes a healthy daily diet plan.

Recent news highlighting Dr. Atkins heart problems have placed many Carb Dieters in Carbo Limbo. Whether the Atkins Diet Plan is eventually linked to heart problems remains in our Diet Future.

As a note, the folks at Dr. Atkins have discounted any ties to Dr. Atkins heart problems and the Atkins Diet Plan.
